Sex toys and Hygiene

It is important that we always practice good hygiene as far as any sex as well as all sex toys are concerned.

What is hygiene?

Hygiene refers to conditions and actions we take that all help to maintain health and prevent the spread of diseases.

The health of our clients are of great concern to us and therefore it is important for us that clients should be aware of the importance of and how to practice good hygiene when using sex toys so they can stay healthy.

Remember your health is something that should never be compromised.

One should remember that one can get a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) from incorrectly using a sex toy.

Wash regularly.

It is of great importance that all toys as well as the hands should be washed clean before and after use of these toys.

Treat your toy like you would treat a part of your body.

Some people actually prefer to cover the toy with a condom if they plan to insert the toy into any orifice. This assists in keeping the toy clean.

Preferably use a condom on the toy when you plan to insert it in your anus and then remove the condom or wash well before inserting it in the mouth or vagina.

Did you know that it is even possible to get a STD if you are the only person using that sex toy if you do not clean it properly before and after every use.

Also remember never to submerge non waterproof vibrators or batteries. Batteries should preferably be removed before washing your toy. Also a good idea to store batteries outside the toy. Both will last longer.

Nowadays one get special toy cleaners. These are great to keep your toy clean and protect yourself.

Do not share toys.

Sex toys are very personal toys and as such should preferably not be shared. Especially not if they are not cleaned well before and after every use. And even then it is recommended that a clean condom should be placed over the toy before it is inserted into another person.

Remember HIV is spread by the sharing of bodily fluids. So one need to prevent the sharing of bodily fluids at all costs.

The safest, therefore, is not to share these toys. Doing it this way there is absolutely no way of spreading any disease at all.

But if sharing must take place, then ensure that the toy is washed well between sessions and possibly to cover it with a different condom before insertion into every partner.

Please use your toys with care.
